October’s Pink Ribbon Giveaway
October 1st, 2008 by Glow Mama
As well as being Pizza Month and Halloween, October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month… and that’s big news here at Glow Mama. We are big fans of our “girls” especially now they’ve turned from being ornamental into functional feeders. We are so incredibly supportive of all the work that the fabulous Breast Cancer Research Foundation does that we’ve decided to donate 5c for every bottle sold online during the month of October. Yaaaahhhhh!
It’s no surprise then that our October Glow Mama Giveaway Pack is pink and breast focused.
The prizes…

First off, we have one of these amazing labor and delivery gowns to give away. These B.Y.O.G(bring your own gown) were recently worn by both Tori Spelling and Gwen Stefani, so we’re super lucky to have secured one before they sold out. The one we are giving away is this gorgeous pink Cosmopolitan(perfect for sipping a Glow Mama mocktail in right?) in a size of your choosing. Ideal for your big day or as a gift for someone you love (dearly). Value = $100+ (incl shipping)
Next is this hilarious book If these Boobs Could Talkby Shannon Payette Seip and Adrienne Hedger. This little book is big on laugh-out-loud humour that helps “pump up the breastfeeding mom”. Everyone here thinks it’s pants-peeing-funny and has ordered their own copy. Value = $10+
We are very excited to be also giving away a box of Luna Berry Almond bars. Luna is the lead sponsor of the Breast Cancer Fund and together they have launched the amazing Pure Prevention Campaign. Not only do the Berry Almond bars help the cause, but they taste great and give you plenty of disease fighting antioxidants. Value = $30+

I would like to win this wonderful package for my sister (like she isn’t getting enough great stuff!) who is pregnant and due in January. I would really like to win because I have personally worn hospital gowns twice and would like to help my sister avoid the wonderful experience! And who doesn’t love Luna bars? I want to win win these for her in the hopes she will share!
Awesome contest for a great cause, thanks!

I saw the BYOG last week, and immediately wanted one. Unfortunately, I can’t afford it! I’m having our third in April, so I thought I would try to make one. I have a friend who is due this month, so I made one for her as a trial run… I’m not sure if I’m going to give it, or trash it! It’s not *NEARLY* as cute as these!
Let’s just say, theirs are selling fast for a reason!!!
I breast fed the first two, and will with this one, as well. A funny book might help lighten the mood when I’m ready to throw in the towel!
And the Luna bars? It would be great to always have something nutritious in my purse… since I seem to always be hungry lately!
You cannot imagine how much I would LOVE to win this prize package!
Thanks for the opportunity.

I am having my first baby in January and would LOVE such a cute gown to take to the hospital. I know when I get in my ninth month I may not feel like a hottie, but it would sure perk me up a bit wearing that in the hospital–especially since I’m sure I won’t be feeling all that glamorous!
I love reading books and so the book would be a welcome addition to my small collection.
Thanks for this opportunity!

Oh I am totally curious about this book now!!! I breastfeed and could sure use a good laugh about it all!!!! This robe is beautiful too. It’s so nice to have something special to wear in the hospital - a little pick me up. And Luna bars are one of my faves!!! Awesome giveaway!!

I would love to win this package. I am a new mom and I’m breastfeeding so the “twins” have a whole new purpose now. I seen the episode where Tori Spelling wore the gown in her TV series and since then I have wanted one. It would be perfect for baby #2.
October 6th, 2008 at 1:48 pm
I’d love to win this - especially the gown because my sister is expecting her first baby after dealing with infertility! And the book sounds hilarious!

I would love to win this package. I’ve had 10 babies and am expecting my 11th on Nov. 28th. I nursed all but the 4th, who died shortly after birth. It would be great to wear something pretty instead of those horrid hospital gowns, and the book would be great reading during my stay in the hospital.
October 7th, 2008 at 7:47 pm
I’d love to win this!! I’m planning a home birth this time & trying to figure out what to wear that will be modest & not too ratty looking for when I’m wandering around (my Dad will likely be here, though not in the room during delivery of course), but comfortable and “accessible” for delivery. This would be GREAT!!!
October 7th, 2008 at 10:14 pm
these would be great! i’m hoping to be pregnant again soon and am still BF…and always hungry since i’m BF twins!
October 10th, 2008 at 8:56 pm

I would LOVE to win this prize! I am currently pregnant, due in April & have had 4 miscarriages in the past (this is the one that stuck!!!) I will have a WEALTH of visitors in and out of the hospital & would be so grateful for just a bit of modesty & style during that time
October 20th, 2008 at 2:31 pm
My name is Amber and I am currently pregnant with my second miracle baby who is due in december. See, the doctors said that its a miracle that my body is carrying. Though, it hasnt been easy I am very thankfull. And since I often feel horrible due to all the complications, I just know that winning this contest would surely make feel better and just add to the miracle. I rember showing off my hospital picture from my last pregnancy and being embarrased on how dreadful i looked. But i know that if i win this gown i will be more than proud to share my blessed moment with out the embarrassment. Not to mention how nice it would be to have a healthy, YUMMY snack to keep handy and a book to keep me laughing. Thank you for the chance!!!

I want this so bad I am begging
October 22nd, 2008 at 3:18 pm
I’m pregnant with my first child and due at the beginning of May. I would love to win because even though I’m not that far along I’m already feeling like an overweight whale. The gown I know would bring up my spirits as I love pink and am happy about this baby. I want the day of his/her birth to be a joyous day with lots of pictures and I don’t want to look like I stumbled into a bad outfit LOL. I’m planning on breastfeeding but I already know it will be an uphill battle. The book would be a great thing to win to be able read when I feel unable to cope with the breastfeeding. Also the luna bars would be wonderful when I’m on the go and can’t find anywhere to eat or just when I’m ready to eat something but don’t want a whole meal. Thank you for giving me an opportunity to win!

I would love to win this for my best friend who is pregnant for the first time after a lot of trying (including years of trying to find a good dad!)
October 28th, 2008 at 11:59 pm
I rarely enter giveaways that are “just for me”, but heck I’m a mama and I deserve to be spoiled every on e in a while dag-nab-it! I am a mama to a 19 mo boy, and am due with our little baby girl Lily on march 4, 2009. I am pretty sure well over 2 years ago was the last time I wore anything pink, so I’d love to be wearing a pink, gorgeous unique gown at that very moment she enters the world, not to mention looking good in those “I just pushed out a baby!” pictures! I’d love to win, please count me in!
Thanks so much!
