Rebecca
received both her M.D. and became a mom within the span of a few months,
forcing her to wear those two hats simultaneously from the
beginning. During the decade since then, she has opted to wear
the mom one most prominently (with the exception of the residency grind when
she had no choice) and feels lucky to currently work part-time as a
physician in a private family practice - seeing newborns to
centagenarians. She quips that work is her vacation since at home just getting
her 4 kids fed, dressed, and out the door in the morning feels like
a days worth of work. But she's not complaining because the
whirlwind of raising kids is passing by oh so fast and those moments in between
the chaos are just oh so sweet.
